This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company and government contractor dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans. They provide comprehensive evaluation services across multiple locations to support Veterans' healthcare needs.

Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • Two options for coverage: Per diem at VES facility or using provider's own office • Current openings in Grand Island, NE (1 day/week, own office required, 25-mile radius preferred) • Current openings in North Platte, NE (1 day/week, per diem need, no own office needed, 50-mile radius required) • Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing, no treatment required • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Must have AANP certification • Must maintain active and unrestricted full license • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Must be able to perform general medicine exams • Self-Query NPDB required (pulled within 30 days) • One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams • Local candidates only, travel included in rates • Follow-up administrative work will be required (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics)

Compensation:
