CBAPN is proud to present nominee Clarissa Lopez-Briseno for this position

 

Clarissa Lopez-Briseno, APRN, AGNP-C, earned her post-Master's from Maryville University in Missouri and is certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Adult Geriatrics. She completed her clinical practicum locally in Corpus Christi. Clarissa also holds a Master's degree in Administration with a concentration in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word and a Master's in Nursing, specialty in Education from Kaplan University.  She has been a nurse for over twenty-five years, with experience in various specialties.

Clarissa is a long-time member of the Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurses and has been a mentor and role model to nurses and nurse practitioners in our community. Clarissa is well-qualified to meet the requirements of the position of President-Elect.

President-Elect (Office term 1- year) 

The President-Elect shall:

Carry on the duties of the President in the latter’s absence.
Assume the duties of the President when necessary to fill an unexpired term.
Term of office to be one year.
Serve on the CBAPN Executive Committee
Assume the office of President after the term of office concludes.
Attend group monthly business meetings of the association

Recording Secretary 2020

CBAPN is proud to present nominee Stephanie Rodriguez for this position

  

Stephanie Rodriguez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C earned her MSN and BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her ADN from Del Mar College. She has worked in various roles in the Emergency Department for over 13 years, including preceptor, bedside RN, Manager and currently as an NP.

Stephanie has been a member of the Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurses since 2017. She previously served on the board for the Coastal Bend Emergency Nurses Association in the role of secretary. Stephanie is well-qualified to meet the requirements of the position of Recording Secretary.

The Recording Secretary shall:

Keep the minutes of all proceedings of the association.
Maintain files of the association.
Serve on the CBAPN Board
Term of office to be two years.
Attend group monthly business meetings of the association

Corresponding Secretary 2020

CBAPN is proud to present nominee Angela Rodriguez for this position

Angela Rodriguez MSN, APRN, FNP-C earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science for Nursing from Texas Tech University and her Associate Degree in Applied Science for Registered Nursing, from Del Mar College. Angela has over 30 years of nursing experience, including working on Medical/Surgical units, the Emergency room, Critical care areas, and the Recovery Room. Angela served as the manager for the Recovery room for over 10 years. Over her 30 year career, she was a preceptor and mentor for many students. She currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Thomas Spann Clinic, in Corpus Christi.

Angela has been a member of Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurses since 2016. She has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, since 2011. She has severed on multiple hospital and organizational committees in the past. Angela is well-qualified to meet the requirements of the position of Corresponding Secretary.

 The Corresponding Secretary shall:

Provide oversight of major mail outs.
Provide notifications of meetings and elections.
Maintain the membership databases.
Term of office to be one year.
Attend group monthly business meetings of the association.
