Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurse member, Angie Rodriguez, has had a major setback at her clinic in Rockport because of a recent fire.  She had just opened her clinic in October 2020 after delaying the opening due to major damage from Harvey in 2017.  Her clinic was beautifully decorated and fully supplied to care for her growing panel of patients.  The clinic pictures below were taken before the fire damage.

At this time, Angie is seeing patients using folding tables and chairs in a new space right next door to Panjo’s.  Although Angie and her staff are heartbroken at the loss, they understand that it is the clinic's patients that make up the practice - not the building. Angie has faith that the clinic will come back strong.

The clinic's furniture and exam tables have been packed up and sent for cleaning and restoration. Her computers and laptops were saved but her EKG machine was destroyed. Daily supplies like gauze, band aids, suturing, injectables, crutches, BP cuffs/machines , O2 sats, otoscopes, scales, stethoscopes, etc. were all destroyed.  Angie does have insurance, but she will have a good amount of out of pocket expense and loss of income while she sorts it this all out.

The Coastal Bend APN Executive Board hopes that our community of friends and health care providers will support Angie as she starts to rebuild her practice.  We ask that our members and friends, please contribute to this fund for Angie Rodriguez.
