The Scholarship Deadline is  July 29, 2022

Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurses Association will award $500-$1000 DNP Scholarly Project Grants. 

Must be enrolled in a DNP program in good standing.  Please submit your Scholarly Project Proposal and Budget.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be enrolled in a DNP program and have an approved project proposal.
2. The applicant must be in good standing with the University.
3. The applicant must be a member of the Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurse professional organization.

Supporting Documentation:

1. Official University Transcript (sealed)
2. Curriculum Vitae (or resume)
3. Professional Goal Statement (maximum 250 words)

The Coastal Bend APRN's aim is to improve the health of our communities and our purpose:

1. To promote professional standards and quality practice of advanced practice registered nurses through education and mentorship.
2. To foster professional community and networking to support professional identity and community awareness of advanced practice nurses in the Coastal Bend area.
3. To promote the interests of the area population and advanced practice registered nurses through advocacy.

Awards will be made to the future Doctor of Nursing Practice who demonstrate a commitment to the nursing profession through helping to improve the health of their patients, and communities.
