Nurse Practitioner Job Opportunity Corpus Christi

NURSE PRACTITIONER  
 Compassionate Care in Corpus Christi is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our clinic. The NP will provide primary and preventive healthcare services to adult patients. The ideal candidate will:
•    Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
•    Have at least one year of experience in primary care -  OR -  an  NP with less than 1 year experience in practice and experience working as a registered nurse in an ER or ICU before becoming an NP. 
•    Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred to effectively serve our diverse patient population. 
•    Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
1.    Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses in adult patients.
2.    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications within scope of practice.
3.    Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies, as needed.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
4.    Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
5.    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the clinic’s mission of expanding access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.
Compensation: Pay would be $62/$65 per hour. 
We have funding for 64 hours per week of NP salary. We can divide this into 2 NPs, 32hr/week each, or 1 NP 40hrs/week and 1 NP 24hrs/week.
Full time is 32-40 hours per week.
HRA: $500 per month
